The cottage.

For twenty years or so, my friend Duncan has been organising annual get-togethers for friends at his family's hide away on the Norfolk Broads, a beautiful cottage with a mooring at the bottom of the garden.

We normally go boating / rowing / sailing / canoeing.

A study of concentration.

Duncan leads the kids with the fishing. Marc particularly enjoys the fishing; without fail, Marc always manages to catch some.

And we usually hit the beach at Sea Palling, depending on the weather. This was Marc's first ever swim in the sea without floats / arm-bands.
