Video Gallery 2 - SP 4449 & UP 844 Puget Sound Steam Special
As Batman & Robin, the dynamic duo of SP4449 & UP 844 steamed fearlessly on the Puget Sound Steam Special (May 12 - 22, 2007) providing steam enthusiasts with many opportunities for capturing the pair on video. Some of the better footage to be found on the web is included below. Although not strictly along the gorge, #844 did stop at The Dalles on the way up from Cheyenne and of course the journey started at Portland / Vancouver - a good enough excuse to include a selection of video footage.
The Day Light livery looks fantastic. I have ordered the forthcoming Kato GS4 #4449 Southern Pacific Morning Daylight set from Model Junction. The actual loco is housed at the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation in Portland Oregon (see also Friends of SP4449).

SP 4449 again, a bit closer home in Portland next to Union Station together with UP and BNSF freight not to mention the Amtrak Cascades Talgo.
