| Model Junction | Frequently (usually) the best prices around. Sells nothing but American outline. Family-run business. Very warm welcome. Excellent personal service. Great banter too, especially on Saturday afternoons. Really can't praise them enough. And I get to call in every time I take my son to Legoland Windsor - so we're both happy. I bought us both Legoland / Merlin annual passes just so I could call in and buy trains more frequently - and the poor boy thought it was because I enjoyed taking him to Legoland. |
| American Trains (UK) | Neil's online shop. You'll find him at most BR - NMRA events with lots of special offers. Cheapest source for Tortoise motors that I could find. |
| Plus Daughters | Not the cheapest by any means (compare the prices to Model Junction) but frequently has a number of interesting items which are out of production. |
| Osborns Models | Again - not the cheapest but very experienced and a breadth of knowledge. |
| Sharp Models | Again - quite expensive compared to model junction but you can sometimes find those difficult to obtain items. |
